What’s the Outlook for the Housing Market?
Chris Powles answers the top question that buyers and sellers are asking.
What's the top question that buyers and sellers are asking today? I invited Chris Powles, our Director of Sales, to answer the question. He's on the ground with our agents every day and will have great insights.
According to Chris, the No. 1 question that he gets is about what's going to happen in the future with interest rates rising, inflation surging, and the stock market dropping. There’s a lot of fear around it, but there’s also a lot of opportunity. For buyers and sellers, it comes down to their motivations and reasons for wanting to move. It’s critical to work around each individual's needs because most of the time, it’s not about the market or about the money. It can be about needing a bigger or smaller living space, moving for a job or a relationship, etc.
“It comes down to your motivation and reason for wanting to move.”
So if you are considering buying or selling in this market, it's important to have a consultation to help you make that move. Chris agreed with this point and said that reaching out to your local Realtor can give you the local market knowledge that you need. They’ll also assess your situation and help you move forward.
If you have any questions about the market today, tomorrow, or farther in the future, please call or email us. We are always happy to help!
