Are you wondering what's going on in this budding spring market? In short, it's very similar to last year, if not even more competitive. In New Hampshire, there has been a decrease in inventory and a 19.6% drop in closed sales. Also, we’re still in a seller’s market. 


Many people were worried about a market crash, but that’s not going to happen. In addition, the shock over rising interest rates has gone away. Buyers have adjusted to this new reality so they’re back in full force. However, new listings are down 15%, which means fewer homes for buyers to consider. 



This market has benefits for both buyers and sellers.” 


If you’re thinking about selling, know that it’s still a great time to do so. If you’re thinking about buying, know that many buyers have been able to keep inspections and add contingencies, even with all of the competition. Houses aren’t selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars over asking price anymore, which is great for buyers, but it’s still a competitive market, which is great for sellers.

Many buyers have told us that they’re waiting for certain things to happen in the market, but if it makes sense for your specific situation and you can afford the monthly payment, we recommend acting now.
